FUN WITH A PURPOSE
In hockey, as in life, leaders are made of young people with exceptional talent, dedication and motivation, coupled with training and conditioning, and then provided the opportunity for top level competition to bring out the best in each player. At Stallions Select, our goal is to give exceptional kids the mental and physical tools that they need to turn their skills in to mastery, combined with the sportsmanship it takes to ensure superior team performance.

OUTFITTED FOR SUCCESS
Players selected for the team will be supplied jerseys for the summer and will also receive practice jerseys, socks, equipment bags, and warm-up jackets sporting the team and sponsors**** logo. These items are for the kids, and are theirs to keep.

COACHING THAT IS
ALL ABOUT EXCELLENCE

WAYNE ECKER

Wayne Ecker brings 30 years of ice hockey experience from Toronto AAA Metro League and Ontatio Junior Hockey Leauge to the Quebec Major Junior Canadians. Ecker, undefeated in the 1977-78 season, was coached by Serge Savard and #22 John Ferguson, a Team Canada and New York Rangers manager and coach, is now head scout for the San Jose Sharks. In Wayne's three years of Junior A, 6' 2" 235 pound defenseman had 34 goals, 67 assists and 101 points in 82 games. Put a bulldozer on skates and thrust a stick in its treads and you have an idea of the way Ecker approaches hockey. So from all his experience, Wayne brings an elite, disciplined, dedicated quality to the game. Wayne is currently an instructor for Stick Handling Beyond Belief with Sean Skinner and has coached all levels form mite to midgets.

MIKE ALLSOP
Mike brings over 30 years of hockey experience to coaching.  Mike played for the Tulsa Junior Oilers who won state and district titles in the early 70’s in the AHAUS.  Mike returned to coach that team for the 1978 and 79 seasons, and again won two state titles behind the bench.  In recent years, Mike has  returned to coaching and spent two seasons with the Princeton youth program and the last two years with the Mercer Chiefs at the AA and A levels.  Mike who’s coached from Mites through Juniors, believes in a focus on a solid skills foundation and then building game strategies that fit the character and capability of the teams  talent.  Mike’s dedication is in helping each player realize his individual potential by creating opportunity to succeed.

MIKE IORIO
In his short tenure in hockey, Mike Iorio has demonstrated what it take to succeed. His study of the game's fundamentals and techniques bring a fresh and vibrant outlook to the Stallions. His passion for winning and perfection is evident in his ten years of being an entrepreneur. Mike looks to exude this attitude on the bench and in the locker room.
